He's a terrific dog, good with other dogs and people; not so good with cats and small pets. He's very affectionate, fun and lively, he's an excellent co-pilot, quiet in the car, and will make a great traveling companion and a good family dog for someone who has a fenced yard and some time to spend with him. He is unusual for a hound as he prefers to be indoors where his people are and is just happy to be with you. After everything this handsome guy has been through, he deserves that second chance at a wonderful life and home of his own. Won't someone step up and give this dog the best years of his life. After all he hasn't had many so far. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only. Adoption Fees *Senior : 9 & up $100-$175 *Adult : 2-8 $250 *Young adult: 6 months to 2 years $275 *Puppies: 6 weeks to 6 months $300 Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
