Hello, my name is Carter. I am a 3-Year-Old American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier mix. I have been told that I have RUGGED GOOD LOOKS and have a very STRONG, MUSCULAR BODY. I am a BIG BOY too, as I weigh 73 pounds. I may look TOUGH, but I am a TEDDY BEAR inside. I LOVE people, and like to get LOTS OF PETTING and BELLY RUBS! I am CALM and WELL MANNERED too! Call her today.....I would love to show you how SWEET I AM! My AWESOME Personality! I am a very PEOPLE FOCUSED doggie. Actually I have a big TAIL WAG, BODY WIGGLE and SMILE for everyone I meet! I am also very AFFECTIONATE too! I love to LEAN AGAINST people....always touching my family members! If you PET ME, I will slowly ROLL OVER for a BELLY RUB....how sweet is that? I am a CALM and WELL BEHAVED DOGGIE! After a little exercise, I settle in. I am actually CALM! I do like to PLAY, but then settle in for some TV time. I will CURL UP by your FEET or SNUGGLE BESIDE YOU on the SOFA...if that is ok. I am also GENTLE. When you give me a TREAT, you will just feel my SOFT LIPS touch your hand....pretty surprising from such a BIG BOY like ME! I am GOOD in the HOUSE! My foster mom has never crated me. I have lived with her for about 2 weeks, and have had free range of the home. I have NOT chewed up anything....I am such a good doggie! Oh, I am house trained too.....bonus! I am a GREAT DOGGIE at NIGHT! My foster mom says I am so good at night. She has a doggie bed beside her bed. I go in my bed and sleep beside her until she gets up in the morning. I am such a GREAT COMPANION! Something FUNNY/CUTE About ME! My foster mom says I SNORT when I am SNIFFING a GOOD SCENT! I sound like a little PIGGIE. She gets a good laugh out of it.....actually my Snort is ADORABLE! Training Update! I know the SIT command, and I am HOUSE TRAINED. My foster mom is working on "COME" with me....I come when called about 50% of the time, but I have only been with her for 2 weeks. I am very FOOD MOTIVATED and PEOPLE FOCUSED. I am also EAGER to PLEASE! In a matter of minutes I was learning the DOWN command too! Won't you teach me more tricks? I LOVE CAR RIDES! I love to go for CAR RIDES. Anything to be with the family. My foster mom did say I want to get in the front seat with her...but with a little training, I will make a GREAT TRAVEL buddy!!! I LIKE to PLAY with Other Doggies! I really love to RUN and PLAY CHASE with my foster mom's doggie. So much FUN!! I ENJOY PLAYING with TOYS! My Foster mom says ROPE TOYS are my favorite. I like to play TUG! I will also RUN and CHASE after a BALL if you throw it for me. I am not too good about bringing it back though. Maybe you could teach me to fetch? Are YOU the RIGHT Family for ME? I am looking for a FAMILY who will appreciate my RUGGED GOOD LOOKS, LARGE SIZE, CALM NATURE, SOCIAL SPIRIT and AFFECTIONATE PERSONALITY! I LOVE People, but will do best with ADULTS and/or CHILDREN over the age of 7 Years of Age. This is because I could accidentally knock a small child over while just playing....I am a big doggie! I am good with DOGGIES, but have never lived with a Cat....so not sure about them. I am a GREAT COMPANION, and would LOVE to be your BEST FRIEND! I am a HEALTHY DOGGIE! I am a healthy 73 Pound Doggie who is full grown. I am up to date on my age appropriate vaccinations, I am already neutered, heart worm screened and microchipped. I am also on flea and heart worm preventative. I am all set to go home with you TODAY! My Sad Story! I was FOUND as a STRAY by a very KIND Person. She could tell that I was SCARED, and HUNGRY. She took me into her own home and started trying to find my family. I wasn't microchipped and didn't have a collar. After 2 Weeks of trying she reached out to All About Animals Rescue for help. She agreed to continue fostering me while LINDA from ALL ABOUT ANIMALS RESCUE posted me on PETFINDER. Hopefully you read this post and reach out to LINDA to set up a VISIT.
