Gloria is a shy 18 month old Treeing Walker Coonhound who didn't do well with hunting (why she was given up) but loves people. She is looking for the perfect person/family to show her indoor life as she was used to living in an outdoor pen. Gloria is as sweet as can be! She is shy and unsure of new things at first but warms up. She needs to get used to inside life and car rides. She has already come so far since first coming to us. It’s clear to see she would be a great cuddler! She curls up so adorably in her bed and is just so precious! She loves to play with her toys and run around the play yard at the kennel. We have no history yet with kids or cats but she has been with dogs her size. She has to have a physical fence with room to run and someone with time for exercise and training. We show most of our adoptable pets at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday from 11 to 3. Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only. Adoption Fees - Senior : 9 years & up $100-$250 (Price depends on individual circumstances) - Adult : 3 years to 8 years $325 - Young adult : 6 months to 2 years $350 - Puppy : 6 weeks to 6 months $375 Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
