RufusI am a very affectionate, lively 6 month old JRT who loves to be wherever you are. I talk alot and love to play with the other dogs. However, I play too rough and have no social skills so they don't want to play with me. That will change with a little training and guidance. Maybe that's why some one threw me away, because they didn't want to take a little extra time to help me learn how to channel my energy and to be the best I can be. My foster mom says I'm super sweet and love to nibble on her ears and give lots of kisses. I'm doing well on my house training and I have lots of potential. If you like a little bit of a challange and are looking forward to some fun and lots of activity, I am just the right little guy for you. You'll never be bored. See ya soon. ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
