GrizzieI am a very sweet chocolate Lab Mix about 9 weeks old and I want to go home. I was an owner give up so I'm used to being in a home. I had to spend 1 1/2 weeks in a scary animal shelter hoping and praying for someone to take me home before I got sick. The shelter people were very kind but there's only so much they can do. They took good care of me but everyone was so very happy when the rescue angel sprung me and took me to a foster home. Now I will be safe and we can concentrate on finding me a loving home. I look like a precious grizzly cub but I have the super disposition of a lab. I probably will not be a very big lab as I am probably mixed with Terrier and not a grizzly bear like I thought. I will make a wonderful family pet for multiple types of families. I'm smart, crate trained and ready to bring some fun into your life. I am quick to learn and very loving and hope to give you lots of chocolate lab bear hugs. Come see me at Petsmart or fill out an app. You will not regret it. I am just too special. See you soon. ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
