ChandlerI am a 4 y/o Yorkie with a really sad story. My mom went away and my dad could no longer take care of me so I ended up in rescue looking for a new home. I am very sweet and loving and scared right now because my whole world is changing. I know I look a little funny with my haircut, but I was so matted that I had to be shaved. Don't worry it will grow back and I'll be as handsome as ever. I am a really good boy and would make a great companion for a variety of homes with kids over 5. I am really attached to my best friend Poppy and would like to stay with her if at all possible. If you have a lot of love in your home and are looking for one or two really precious pups, please come see me (and Poppy, too). You won't be able to resist. I don't have to be adopted with Poppy, but it sure would be nice. The adoption fee of $250 includes current vaccines and sterilization. ********************************************************************************** We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.
Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.
Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.
MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.
